Complete Manufacturing Solutions

Complete Estimation, Design and Manufacturing solution for Switchboards
At Iconic Infotech, we provide business solution and not just a tool. How we differentiate a solution form a tool?
A tool needs knowledge, practice and experience for it to be used efficiently and to produce desired result. Skill set of the operator plays a great role in quality and quantity of the output received from the tool.
However a solution is all together a different concept, here the knowledge, expertise and quality are built in the system and irrespective of the executive using it, it will give consistently efficient results. Knowledge created is stored in the data bank of the system and automatically retrieved when ever required.
There is no replacement to human knowledge, experience and skill, however often the most valuable human skill is used in routine and repetitive work. When we want our business to grow in multiples, this doesn’t justify. The precious human skill, experience needs to be utilized for more useful and productive purposes. IT needs to be utilized for development of new processes, system, cost effective methods and best utilization of resources. Many times we come across with people with 15-20 years experience taking pride in doing routine and repetitive work and think the work they are doing can not be done by others. However they do not realize that if they define guide lines, make systems, the same work can be delegated to team members and their skills can be used for something higher, which is required for the business to remain profitable in this age of very dynamic and competitive environment.
We at ICONIC INFOTECH play an important role in this whole process for creating knowledge bank for the organization. We collect, understand, format and making the data available to the right person in such a way that it can be used efficiently. With our experience of over 20 years in switchboard estimation, design manufacturing and 10 years of IT skills we play an important role of making the systems and solutions work.
Our switchboard solutions help in making an exact estimate for any type of switchboard with just entry of feeder list and components. These components can also be selected from the data base through parallel filtering process, this makes it very user friendly and easy. All other cost like fabrication, painting / powder coating, busbar selecting and costing, preparation of tender purpose front view is done automatically. Thus any one, without knowledge of the mechanical aspects of switchboards can make an accurate estimate and offer. It takes almost 1/10th time compared to conventional estimation methods.

Design and engineering of the switchboard is done without having knowledge of drafting tools like Auto-CAD, the solution reads the final output of estimation and automatically generates the wiring drawings, which can be edited, modified and revised through the interface provided with the solution using drag-drop / auto-connect feature. Solution automatically generates bill of quantities taking the rating from the feeder list and components from the wiring diagram. It provides details of components whose complete catalog no is not identified and prompts user to complete the description though a user friendly interface. All other outputs like single line diagram, name plate list, looping charts, sticker list, record of drawings and revision marking is done automatically. Using this tool we guarantee that a project of almost 100 vertical panels can be designed in 6 man days against 30 man days by conventional methods.

Once the drawings are approved and released for manufacturing, the manufacturing solution reads the approved drawings, compares it with the extensive data base of manufacturing solution and generates sheet metal drawing, BB drawings, mounting plate layout and looping chart for plate wiring. In case of new components one time layout needs to be made though solution interface, which has 2D-3D drawing tool and drag-drop options. Then dxf file, bending line, dimensions are generated automatically. Further the process is based on the engineering skills of design and manufacturing heads and not left to the discretion of workmen to decide while working, thus ensuring perfection, reliability and timely completion, reduces dependency on skilled workmen. This helps in providing repeat accuracy and consistent quality thus helps in gaining customer loyalty and confidence, in turn higher profits.

Put in one line, it is THE ultimate solution created specifically for the Indian switchboard industry.
